All-New 2016 Mazda CX-3 Wins Outdoor Activity Vehicle of Year Award

The Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) held their 22nd annual Activity Vehicle of the Year competition last month and Mazda ran away with one of the most coveted awards available. The all-new 2016 Mazda CX-3 was awarded with the Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year award. Mazda, which has been racking up the awards lately, continues its strong year with this award from the NWAPA.

“I think the Mazda CX-3 was the biggest surprise for our members,” said Ryan Douthit, NWAPA event chair and producer of Driving Sports TV. “Not only did this subcompact crossover excel on our sealed-surface handling course, it also showed surprising capability on our rugged off-road circuit.”

The 2016 Mazda CX-3 is a crossover vehicle that has the potential to appeal to any car buyer. With its great fuel efficiency — it gets up to 35 mpg highway — and powerful 4-cylinder engine, the Mazda CX-3 can meet the demands of long travel, but also won’t have any difficulty handling any off-road fun you’re planning. Plenty of MA drivers head up to New Hampshire every year and “hike” Mt. Washington and tackle lots of other difficult terrain, so prepare to take out this car for plenty of family adventures.

When you’re headed out on those long trips for a family getaway, you can know that the new 2016 Mazda CX-3 will keep you and others entertained with its Aha™, Pandora® and Sticher™ internet radio, so you’ll constantly be able to play your favorite tunes. You can also upgrade and get the available BOSE audio system, allowing you to crank up the tunes as loud as you want. This car has everything you could possibly need!

If this crossover sounds like the perfect vehicle for you, head over to our MA Mazda dealership and experience the award-winning 2016 Mazda CX-3!
