Subaru Share the Love Event Raises Nearly $24 Million for Charity

With over $23 million raised and 660 hometown charities supported, the annual Subaru Share the Love® event is celebrating its 10th anniversary with one of its biggest years yet!

The Subaru Share the Love event made waves this year by celebrating a decade’s worth of charitable efforts by Subaru of America, Inc. and Subaru dealerships across the country. This year also marks the automaker’s 50th year manufacturing in the United States, so there was plenty of reason to celebrate. As such, Subaru did not place a cap on total contributions to its Share the Love charitable partners for the second consecutive year. Over the past decade, the Share the Love program has raised a grand total of $118 million for charitable causes all around the country.

“At Subaru of America, we share a passion with our retailers and Subaru owners for positively impacting local communities nationwide, and nowhere is that more evident than through our annual Share the Love event,” said Alan Bethke, senior vice president of marketing, Subaru of America, Inc. “We are incredibly proud to have donated more than $118 million to national and local organizations that benefit the causes our customers care most about throughout the life of this beloved campaign.”

Charitable organizations supported by the Share the Love event include:

  • The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®)
  • Make-a-Wish Foundation
  • Meals on Wheels America
  • National Park Foundation
