Subaru Teams Up with Brand USA for Documentary About America’s National Parks

2016 Subaru OutbackOne of the best parts of owning a Subaru is the ability to explore the country and immerse yourself in nature. As such, Subaru of America, Inc., has partnered with Brand USA, the country’s destination-marketing organization, to produce a giant-screen, 3-D documentary called, “National Parks Adventure.” The film will be shown in IMAX and giant-screen theatres around the world beginning in February 2016.

“National Parks Adventure” pays homage to America’s great outdoors and the centennial of the National Park Service. The documentary is being produced by MacGillivray Freeman Films, an Academy Award®-nominated, independent filmmaker who has plenty of past experience with giant-screen films.

“We’re excited to be involved in this inspiring project,” said Alan Bethke, Vice President of Marketing at Subaru of America, said in a release. “It’s a great way to highlight these national treasures and raise awareness of their importance.”

Subaru has its own sustainability campaign called, “Who we are is what we leave behind,” which focuses on reducing landfill waste in America’s national parks. Ultimately, Subaru hopes to completely eliminate landfill waste from the parks to preserve their beauty and integrity for future generations. As a corporate leader in environmental advocacy, Subaru has worked closely with Brand USA to create this documentary that will inform people around the world about our country’s beautiful parks.

The first showing will be held at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., before the movie is released worldwide. We can’t wait for the documentary to be shown in Boston, not far from our Subaru dealership in Raynham, MA!
