Volkswagen Launches Customer Goodwill Program for People Affected by EPA-Compliance Issues

Volkswagen values its customers above all else, which is why the automaker has decided to offer a Customer Goodwill Package to those who were affected by the emissions issues. The owners of 482,000 2.0-liter diesel cars that violated the EPA-governed emissions standards are eligible for compensation through their local Volkswagen dealership. As of Jan. 11, 2016, the TDI Goodwill Package extends to owners and lessees of impacted 3.0-liter V6 vehicles. The Customer Goodwill Package is available for people who own affected models including the Beetle, Golf, Jetta, and Passat.
